BODY FOUND IN SOUTH END
Police believe it to be of missing Resolute girl

By SIMONE BYLINE

Resolute city police are baffled with the discovery of the body of a girl, found face-down behind a dumpster in the 200 block of Cawthorn drive. The body is believed to be that of missing Resolute local Teanna Carington, who disappeared a week ago. This is the latest crime in a series of tragedies occurring in the South end. I personally called the Chief of Police, Barry Graves, for further comment on how Resolute City Police plan to gain control over the violence and gang crime occurring in the south end.
“We are doing everything we can to protect Resolute’s
people and we will continue to do so diligently and with a
fierce resolve.”

This reporter was not satisfied with the statement given and called back many times but only received a statement of “No Comment” from the Police Chief Graves and his representatives.

Teanna Carington was sixteen years old and a front-runner
for the much coveted “Amber Thessinger Scholarship”, which
celebrates academic excellence. Her family is shocked and
distraught.

“I can’t believe this has happened,” Teanna’s mother, Judy
Carington told me early this morning. “I just can’t believe
it.”

Police have yet to release whether the attack and murder
involved sexual assault.

Mrs. Carington went on to say, “Gangs run around down here,
doing whatever they want and the police can’t touch them.
It was only a matter of time before [the gangs] killed
someone, I just can’t believe that it was my little girl.”
